Welcome On Board

The M/S Arion was built in 1965 as "Istra" in Pula - Croatia and purchased by Arcalia Shipping Company and completely rebuilt in 2000. Aboard M/S Arion interiors designed and decorated to create a subtle atmosphere of light blending into soft colors through its new public rooms and 162 passenger cabins.

All cabins are air-conditioned with individual controls, and are equipped with phone, hair dryer, safe box, satellite TV and private bathroom with shower. Some cabins are twins; others have a queen size bed.

The vessel features four meals daily (buffet breakfast, lunch, dinner and midnight snack) and afternoon tea with delicious finger sandwiches. Dinner is a culinary experience with a balanced menu established by our Master Chefs who are members of the most famous culinary association "Les Toques Blanches Internationals". The spacious restaurant is lined with windows and can accommodate all the passengers in a single seating.

In the evening after dinner enjoy entertainment in the Grand Salon with musicians, dancers and singers. You can gather round the piano bar, enjoy time in night club, explore winter gardens and card room/library. You can enjoy TV in your cabin. Films are shown every night. Additional, there is a sun deck, promenade lounges, swimming pool and Lido Bar, beauty salon, boutique, photo shop, laundry service, lift and medical center.

Arion has Portuguese and other European officers and an international crew. The size of the vessel is 472 feet ideal to explore unusual places away from the main cruise areas without the crowds.

Major credit cards are accepted onboard, and ship has an exchange office. Shore excursions are available for purchase on board.
