Transatlantic flight via TAP Air Portugal TP #104 departing from Newark at 6:15pm. Breakfast and dinner served on board.

Day 2: Lisbon.
Arrival in Lisbon at 6:05am. Greetings from our representative and transfer to the hotel Phoenix (www.fenixlisboa.com). The rest of the morning at leisure. Afternoon city tour of Lisbon. You will visit St. Geronimo’s Monastery, Belem Tower, Monument of Discovery, and Alfama quarter with its narrow streets with steep stairs.

Day 3: Lisbon – Sintra.
Free day for shopping or individual exploring this beautiful city or optional excursion to Sintra Royal Palace built in 15th Century for the Portuguese Court as summer residence. Continue to Estoril, Cascais and its colorful bay, a fishing village and stop at Cabo da Roca – the westernmost point of continental Europe. Dinner and overnight in Lisbon.

Day 4: Lisbon – Obidos - Coimbra.
After breakfast departure to Obidos a charming Medieval village with its narrow streets surrounded by walls. Walking tour of this castle Roman origin village. In the afternoon arrive to Coimbra, Portugal’s capital in the 12th century where you will visit one of the world’s oldest university with its splendid library and chapel. Dinner and overnight at hotel Melia in Coimbra (www.solmelia.com).

Day 5: Porto.
After breakfast drive to city of Porto, Portugal’s second largest city UNESCO World Heritage Site, home of famous Porto wines.

You will see preserved its architectonic treasures including monuments (palaces and churches made in the local granite stone) in Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassic styles. Afternoon is free for shopping or take a optional cruise in Douro river. Dinner and overnight at hotel Vila Gale in Porto (www.vilagale.pt).
Day 6: Porto – Fatima - Lisbon.
After breakfast drive to Fatima: visit Aljustrel, Valinhos, Cova da IRA, including Basilica, Chapel of Apparitions and Miraculous Fountain. Late afternoon arrival in Lisbon for overnight. Farewell dinner in Fado Restaurant with Folklore Show.
